Heart to Heart School

Just over a year after fundraising efforts began, the Heart to Heart School in Cambodia is completed. It is exciting to see the tangible results of the hard work, and donations given by many individuals. We want to share pictures of the school with you, and thank you for giving and supporting the Heart to Heart School project in Cambodia.

For those who may not know about the Heart to Heart project, the purpose was to raise money to build a school in rural Cambodia, an area of extreme poverty where young uneducated children are continually in risk of being kidnapped or sold into sex trade.

It has been the efforts of the American Assistant for Cambodia to bring awareness of this need in Cambodia through the Rural Schools Project, which has in turn built over 300 schools in rural areas of Cambodia since 1999. Through generous donations and support the American Assistance for Cambodia has been able to repair damage from the Khmer Rouge regime through reconstruction of institutions and schools.
