The Blanton Family was one of thousands of families displaced by the floods September 21. Their home was destroyed when as much as 6 feet of water settled inside it after the heavy rains drove Sweetwater Creek dozens of feet over its banks. The muddy water ruined about 85% of their belongings. Like most people affected, they didn't have flood insurance. What do people do? How do people recover? There is hope!
